- Your secret to keep your lips red?
“Many people are curious about my lips, but they’ve just been naturally red since I was born.”
- You look like Olaf?
“But his nose is a carrot! I can’t accept this.”
- What do you do when you’re free?
“Playing games, sleeping or eating snacks… These are things I do most recently.”
- Your hobbies?
“Honestly, what relaxes me most is doing nothing. But I’m also fond of watching movies by myself and listening to music.”
- Is there any nickname that you’d like to have?
“No. You can call me whatever you’d like.”
- Have you seen fan art of you?
“[Fans’] passion is amazing, and their skill is amazing too. Many fan arts looks like romance comics. Thank you.”

- Do you know the peach (the combination of the sounds pi and chi in Korean) couple?
“The fedora looks like a famous pizza brand logo, and Sunny is the owner of a chicken restaurant, so “pichi.” It also means peach, so I like it.”
- Are you good at housework?
“Yes, cleaning, laundry, dishes, cooking, anything…. As long as I focus on doing it, I would be good at it. However, as I eat alone frequently, I rarely cook.”
- Something you expect in the second half of the drama?
“As you can see, the secrets about the grim reaper’s past life have been revealed gradually, so I’m expecting more and more conflicts.”
- Your favorite scene or line?
“Like many people, I find the line “Drink the tea, it will make you forget everything of this life” when my character escorts the dead quite interesting. It sounds like the grim reaper’s signature.”
- The best scene/part done without planning?
“In the script, Sunny’s name in my phone should have been “Not Sun Hee, but Sunny.” However, I thought the grim reaper would be a little bad at spelling, so I entered ‘No t Sun Hee, b tu S u ny’ (approximation of Korean misspelling). The director said it was okay, and in fact, viewers really like the idea.
- The most charming aspect of the grim reaper?
“I think it is that he seems cold while working, but he’s actually got a warm heart. Personally, I like the warm side of the grim reaper more. Also, Sunny always calls him adorable, so people really like that.”
- How’s the work as a grim reaper?
“It’s a low-paid job. You know, long hours, and I’ve been saving up for 300 years to be able to buy a house. Help me out a little.”
- Why do you choose “Goblin”?
“I thought about it a lot. I think I made the right decision, because the movie helps me show a different side of myself to everyone.”
- What is the grim reaper to you?
“During my acting career, I hardly like or hate any character. But I must admit that the grim reaper, for many reasons, will be one that I remember for a very long time.”
