According to the statistics released by Nielsen Korea on December 18, the sixth episode of tvN’s “Goblin” had nationwide ratings of 12.9 percent. The episode also gained a lot of attention thanks to the romantic scene between Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun.

At the end of the sixth episode, the goblin Kim Shin (played by Gong Yoo) and Ji Eun Tak (played by Kim Go Eun) meet each other, and Ji Eun Tak is about to pull out the glowing sword from his body. Before commencing, Ji Eun Tak asks Kim Shin if he has any final words to say, to which Kim Shin sadly replies, “The time I spent with you was wonderful. Because these days were both bad and good, I really liked them. And remember, no matter what happens, it’s not your fault.”

goblin-2Ji Eun Tak is confused by his words, and asks if he would turn into a broom. Kim Shin laughs and tells her that he won’t, making Ji Eun Tak feel relieved. She is ready to pull out the sword.

However, the sword keeps vanishing whenever she tries to pull it out. Kim Shin becomes more and more anxious and frustrated, but then Ji Eun Tak suddenly mentions fairytales and princes.

Feeling confused, Kim Shin asks, “What about it?” To reply, Ji Eun Tak grabs his collar and says, “A kiss,” and kisses him. Kim Shin’s eyes widen in surprise.

So romantic, right?
