Apink commented on the junior girl group which has the similar concept to them

Apink appears on KBS2’s “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook” and shares about girl groups debuting with a new image kind of like theirs.

During the show, the girls sing their 2011 debut song “I Don’t Know.” Unfortunately, although the song was carefully chosen but it was not a huge hit. The audience laughs hard when Hayoung says, “Just like the title, nobody knows it.”

Apink was famous for their cute and pure image amidst the trend of sexiness among girl groups when they debuted six years ago.

Nevertheless, due to several groups have had with the similar image since then, MC Yoo Hee Yeol asks if they think their place is being taken away from them. Jung Eun Ji replied, “It makes us proud that many groups debuted with a similar concept after us.”

Son Naeun continues, “Nowadays girl group members are good at everything, even splits. We tried to do splits this time as well, but it didn’t work out.”Jun Eun Ji adds, “That’s why this time, instead of splits we tried to make a little more impact with our gaze.”

Besides the debut song “I Don’t Know,” in  2011, Apink also performed “Only One,”  the new album named “Pink Revolution.”You can enjoy their performances here and here.
